Despite the winter floods keeping LBC off the water for a good number of sessions this year, a number of crews headed off to Lincoln to take part in Lincoln Head on Sunday 15th March, with several of our Loughborough Students Rowing Club friends joining us, we packed the trailer full of boats.

With fingers crossed for reasonable weather (March head races can be a little unpredictable) a number of LBC crews raced 3.5 km over both divisions. Some gaining medals, and some race experience.

With the morning division being a little more forgiving, the wind really picked up for the second division, but at least the forecast torrential rain saved itself for the drive home.
