Henley Regatta is one of the most prestigious rowing events in the annual rowing calendar, attracting the best crews from the UK and around the world. Many current and future Olympians have first shown their winning ways at Henley.

With over 2,000 crews taking part on an iconic stretch of the river Thames in front of Pimms drinking and brightly jacketed fans, LBC were delighted when five of our women’s squad stepped up to take on the world in a coxed four at Henley Women’s regatta.

Putting up a fantastic performance in the time trial, our crew of Vicky (cox), Hannah, Eleanor, Zoe and Erica beat 20 other crews and were only 8 seconds off qualifying for the knock out rounds.
