Falling close to the end of the summer regatta season, Bradford is the event where a lot of Juniors try out racing for the first time. This was the case for some LBC juniors this year, and also an LBC senior who is still quite new to the sport.
With singles, doubles, quads, a coxed quad and a coxed four, LBC put on a great show with wins for our W2x (first race for one crew member), W4x+ and W Mas B 1x. Along with some good rows and victories in the heats for others.
All of this occurred under the watchful eye of our club president, who upon visiting his old rowing club could quite often be found ensconced in the bar enjoying the Yorkshire sunshine.
