Bewdley is another one of LBC’s favourite regattas, and one where the camper vans and tents come out for what is (sometimes) a blast of summer. This year we had a bit of rain on the Sunday (sorry Natalie!) but then the sun came out in all its glory sending crews to search out a long forgotten item known as sun cream.
Great to see multiple crews from LBC racing across the Junior, Senior and Masters squads, with some great performances and a goo mix of wins.
Even more impressive was LBC’s ability to avoid the giant ‘orange sausages’ at the end of the sprint, which are allegedly there to mark out shallow waters, but the author suspects are there to provide additional entertainment for those observing from the Bewdley club bar.
