With the Soar Head unfortunately cancelled due to storm Kathleen making her presence felt, LBC decided to spend Sunday cleaning, fixing and tidying up the club. With multiple club members fueled by well judged chilli and chips, many hands certainly made light work. Ergs were serviced, new sliding racks for the fours were installed, windows were cleaned and we found some things we didn’t even know we had. Despite Jen demonstrating her raw strength by ripping the seat off an erg with her bare hands, the day was (mostly) injury free and the club is looking in good shape for the summer days ahead.

A special shout out to Loughborough Students Rowing Club who joined in and helped out with river clearance and everything else going.
