Welcome to Loughborough Boat Club. Founded in 1881, LBC prides itself on being a small, friendly rowing club. Situated on the River Soar at Hathern near Loughborough, Leicestershire. The club offers rowing opportunities to those who have never rowed before and to those who have had some experience in the past. The club has many experienced rowers who are always happy to give advice and pass on their knowledge through informal and formal coaching sessions.

So whether you are just looking for fun with a casual commitment or you are aiming for some serious competition, we can accommodate you. Regardless of your ability, everyone gets to row and has the opportunity to compete if they would like to.

If you’re interested in joining our club, please feel free to visit the club during club sessions on Tuesday and Thursday evenings and weekend mornings or contact the club via phone or email.
