Loughborough Boat Club sent their top sculler to compete in local event Nottingham City Regatta on Saturday 14th May. Conditions at the National Water Sports centre at Holme Pierrepont were kinder than in previous years. Tom Scholefield (21) took gold in the 2000 meter elite lightweight single event proving victorious over tough competition from Kings Worcester, Cambridge and Twickenham In a fantastic time of 7 minutes and 34 seconds.
