October 2009 saw another excellent win for the Loughborough Boat Club IM3 4+ crew. The crew which has only recently began training as a team managed to come 9th out of 66 crews who entered and won their category with a time of 12.42 minutes and the fastest of 4 crews beating De Montfort University and 2 Derby RC crews.
They were also the fastest coxed boat of the day too. The crew were Stroke – Oliver Boast (Trent), Nikola Stoilov, Richard Goodwin and Pete Van Hooff with Jonny Day as cox. A special thanks to Oliver Boast for stepping in at stroke at the 11th hour due to unforeseen citcumstances.
