Pairs head is a particularly difficult race held on the Thames each October. The nature of small boats and potential autumnal conditions can make it a tricky course yet Erica and Zoe decided to take ‘Therapy’ on board and head for the Capital.

W2- ready for Pairs Head

The race is distance of 4800m and the girls were fortunate that the weather was kind.
Following the success over 1000m sprints the girls hadn’t much time to prepare for the different discipline of long distance yet still had a fantastic row, overtaking their Masters ‘B’ pair oppo within the first quarter and also a women’s senior pair. It was the first time both ladies had competed in pairs head as pair and had a fantastic time of 16.42 coming third in their category.
