Confirmation that the deposit for a Hudson 2x/- has been paid with remainder due upon receipt. Boat expected before AGM. (£5,071) 2017 Ex-Eton S2.31 SHARK Predator Convertible Pair/Double (75-88 kg) Arctic Lite 2- has been sold for £200 with White Whale and BST being donated to a starter club so that the boats still have some use where they have not been used for a long time at LBC.
2b. Move to a limited Company
As noted in previous meeting, there is an expected response at the AGM to the resolution set at the EGM regarding move to ltd company. Admission that less work had gone on than planned. Concerns around the club declaring to HMRC and the willingness of people to stand for committee as directors lead to the suggestion not to follow this further at current time, taking a least risk adverse approach with possibility to increase liabilities.
3a. Loughborough Students
BUCS regatta is taking place over May bank holiday (30Apr to 2May). Note that many boats will be at the NWSC for this and not at the Club.
Noted that an agreement was reached for those that have been classified as ‘seniors’ with access to the additional boats.
Proposal to aim for the 2022-2023 agreement to be in place before summer (30 June 2022).

Next competitions are the first regattas of the season of Leicester and Shrewsbury, hoping to take both LBC and LSRC crews.
Raised again about the need to develop a “moving on from beginners” group within the club along with a stronger intra-club group/network.
Proposal to purchase a recreational boat, similar in design to tri-soar-us for those that are not interested in racing so much but rather for the enjoyment of the sport. No disagreement raised, to be followed up and options explored

Noted that LBC and LSRC were approached by LSE to borrow a boat for BUCS. At this point, we were unable to assist.
As part of Tilda’s L2 coaching course she needs to complete her first aid. Suggestion to hold an approved first aid course at the club for others to take part as well. The course would be £300 for the session, not per person. Agreement for this to take place
