Following a course inspection by the Soar Head Safety Team this afternoon the decision has been taken to cancel the Soar Head.

Boston Marathon weekend was a fantastic success for the two Loughborough Boat Club crews competing this year not only taking pots home but breaking and setting course records!
Bewdley Regatta weekend was yet another great success for Loughborough Boat Club, especially for the ladies of the club who managed to take home a good collection of pots.
July 18th and 19th brought the annual British Junior Rowing Championships, this time at Strathclyde Country Park on its four yearly rotation with Holme Pierre Pont.

The Annual Dinner for Loughborough Boat Club was held at the clubhouse in Zouch to honour all of those who participate in the club, whether through racing, social organisation, coaching, boat and clubhouse repairs or simply just to get together with fellow rowers and friends.
Taking on the challenge of visiting a different racing location than usual, Loughborough Boat Club took on the East Anglian rowing clubs at the Bedford Spring Fours and Small Boats Head on the 2000 metre course on the River Great Ouse. Despite it being one of the windiest days of the year, all the crews made a fantastic effort battling it out against some very strong opposition and head winds.
